They were massaged by Italy's renowned coachbuilder "Pininfarina", who was contracted to construct the basic Cadillac Allante body, although the styling was largely Cadillac's own. The Cadillac Allante was built with a costly "Airbridge" arrangement, once the "Pininfarina" modification's were complete, they were flown back to the US for final completion and eventual sale.
