1977 Ford Bronco Rock Crawler

Well Boys and Girls! Pony up to this Bronco and you will be in for a great looking toy that's sure to please! Rigs like this take buckets of money to create and it's rare when you find one ready to play! Not only that, You SAVE! Since complete this unit has NOT seen the OFF ROAD use it was intended for! A complete body off restoration of a good solid specimen! So let's get on with the show! 

Virtually every item during the restoration was NEW and purchased from James Duff! According to the owner over $32,000 in parts! While the body was off the entire floor pans were replaced and as a final touch, underside, inside tub & inside panels were treated to a thick coat of ever tuff Rhino Lining! The body was prepped and treated to a basecoat/clearcoat of 1996 Ford Factory Paint (code LE). The front fenders were replaced with James Duff replacements along with the Custom Fiberglass Hood to make room for the Beefed up 302 V8! A new Hard Top was also treated to body color (see sub-page). 

The Chassis is equipped with all new James Duff Bushings, 3.5 Super Suspension Lift, 1" inch Body Lift, Bumper Stops, Front Torsion Bars, Rear Traction Control Bars, Front Skid Plate, Rear Skid Plate, F/R Differential Skid Plates and more! The Dana 44 front axle is controlled with M & M Locking Hubs while out back resides an ever dependable Ford 9" inch Diff and both are set with 4:11 Gears! Finally the rolling stock was treated to a complete set of 15 x 10 Mickey Thompson polished alloy wheels and wrapped in Mickey Thompson 36 x 15 x 15 Baja Belted Rubber which are still like new with the nubs!

Hop inside to up-dated Front Seats, Full Roll Bar and Rear Passenger Seat! The stock dash remains in place with the addition of a trustworthy 3-gauge pod, billet pedal pads, billet transfer case knob. KC Switches for the 7 Off Road Lights and more! Now onto the tunes, packed under the rear seat is an amp and 2 Rockford Fosgate 12" Woofers that are controlled by an In-Dash AM/FM Compact Disc Player! 

Now on to the power! A built 302 equipped with Roller Rockers, Edelbrock High Rise Intake. Edelbrock 600cfm 4bbl Carb, Hooker Headers, Dual Crossover Exhaust, Flowmaster Mufflers, K & N Filter System,  MSD Ignition, MSD Distributor, Accell Triple Platinum Plugs, Edelbrock Dress-Up and More. The transfer of power is provided thru an ever dependable C4 Automatic Trans equipped with Shift Kit!  Ok Done!

Known Items: Exact age of build unknown, estimated 7-8 years young and less than 2000 miles. The current owner say's it has never been put thru it's Off Road capabilities and would prefer to leave that up to the next owner! The paint is very shiny, looks great from a very short distance and I would rate it as professional "Driver" quality. Not Show but Nice and way better than it's intended use required. The dash appears to have been painted prior to the body with slight color difference. The door post on the passenger side has shown common cracking (see sub-page) and will need welded to be sturdy. The outside driver door handle is a little loose, rattles when the door shuts and A minor door/hinge/latch adjustment may be in order and/or if it were me, I would take both doors off and go Off-Road'n! Minor Scratch RR Qtr. Defrost cable not connected. E-Brake Inop. Very Healthy, Starts Perfect and Runs Great! Normal minor oil seepage noted but no excess leak and/or drips on the floor. The Hard Top is now on and Ready for Shipping (see sub-page) Typically a little flighty with the short wheelbase and mods! This is a Great TOY and not intended as an everyday driver. Way too Fun to Drive! Finally, as I always say, Not Perfect and Not New but "It is What it Is", A Cute Off-Roader that will Get Up and Go Over the Hill!! Ha!
