Listing Description
Ok Ok! Put yer Banana away and don't peel it just yet! This High Impact Yellow MOPAR has MO-PWR! Have you been looking for a great Mopar that exudes early 70's muscle in more ways than one? You say you want to get noticed and you don't want it to cost you a fortune? It must be able to cause neck snapping looks of admiration? It's exhaust notes must leave no doubt that crisp Big Block Muscle resides under the hood? Mopar values have climbed thru the roof and finding nice cars of this quality for a fair price is next to impossible!
This dude packs tons of curb appeal, loads of power and incredible attention to detail! From Jamb to Jamb the body and paint is excellent! No, it's not a spray over everything, it's quite evident in the detailed engine & body shots that this one was stripped and done right! The undercarriage is detailed right down to the factory inspection marks on the suspension components! Dry and Solid with no signs of rust and/or rust repair. Under the hood shows incredible attention to detail with every wire and component clean enough to eat off!
Powered by a detailed to the MAX 440 Big Block that has been completely rebuilt with absolutely nothing out of place, this one is crisp in more ways than one! It all starts with compression created by Forged Pistons while a Hydraulic MOPAR "Super Stock Industries" Cam times the Valves with a 442 Int./465 Ex. Lift! Crisp Power with a nice drivable lope! The fuel is fed by an Edelbrock Aluminum Intake Manifold topped with a 750cfm Edelbrock Carb! Dispelling the spent fuel is a set of Hedman Competition Headers hooked to 2 1/4" pipes that flow thru Flowmaster Mufflers leading to Factory Correct/Expensive Exhaust tips! The sound is superb and the tire roasting power puuuurfect! The rest is dressed with Chrome MOPAR Valve Covers and Hardware! Power is transferred thru a 727 Torqueflite Automatic Trans into a highway friendly geared Non-Posi rear differential. Yes, it has Power Steering and Power Disc Brakes! Finally the ride is rounded out with BF Goodrich Radial Rubber wrapped around body color steel wheels adorned with Dog Dish Hub-Caps! It's a GAS to Drive!
Hop inside to a neat and tidy factory style wood grain interior equipped with some nice creature comforts! Factory buckets snuggle up to a Slap-Stick Shifter Console with storage compartment. Now feast yer eyes on Full Factory Instrumentation with Tachometer!! Reach over to the door panels where you will find Power Windows! Tunes come from a aftermarket AM/FM that fits in the factory hole without dash mods! Showing very little use, this unit is very inviting! The clean solid trunk sports the factory mat and space saver spare. Let's not forget, Power Steering and Power Disc Brakes! Now fire it up, rev it up and honk the working factory BEEP BEEP Horn!
In closing, if you are ready to get noticed, want big block power and want an incredible value, THIS IS IT!! A real nice car that you can take to a Show-n-Shine in the Park and/or drive everyday! You will not be disappointed in the bang fer the buck!! The asking price is very fair and the owner is motivated to sell! Too Many Cars!
This a REAL (M) ROAD RUNNER!! A wonderfully straight body with good northwest history showing NO signs of any rust and/or rust repair. The non original color yellow paint is of good professional quality estimated at 5-7 years young with only minor expected age/use (nothing worth noting) Way above average driver! Jamb to Jamb the paint very shiny, including under the hood!! Clearly stripped naked to do it right! Based upon a partial note/receipt binder included with car, the entire restoration appears to have been completed in/or around 2000! A receipt from a muffler shop alignment dated 10-98 shows an odometer reading of 8,094 miles, while a receipt from PAW shows all major engine rebuild components purchased in 01-2000. Based on the current odometer reading of just over 16,000 miles, receipts and exceptional stem-to-stern condition, one could assume, not many miles since completion! Originally Factory Equipped with a 340 4bbl, it has been converted to a 440 with a casting # showing 66-72 vintage! Very nicely done and one would have hard time telling otherwise! The oil pan has a minor ding from a convenience store parking curb that has been repaired and is not visible in the photos! A very minor trans leak that appears to be coming from the trans pan gasket. Looks, Starts, Runs and Drive's excellent! Not Perfect and Not New (none are) but this is a NICE CAR! NOW PEEL YOUR BANANA and BID! Let the detailed pictures tell the rest of the story!
