Description

Chances are, if you've looked at all the photos pasted on 3 full web-pages, you will already know this is one rock solid desirable 60's NOVA coupe with great curb appeal. A ready to drive toy at an affordable price that anyone would be proud to own! Sold new in San Diego, California. The original owner gave it to his son-in-law who ended up in Idaho. The current owners longtime friend purchased the car from the son-in-law and of course onto the current Chevy Dealership owner! A solid train of history, plenty of noted up-grades, care and massaging. With the mechanicals done by Mr. Goodwrench himself, it's ready to go! All new interior using reproduction pieces from “Year One”. New headliner, dash, carpet, door panels and seat covers. The seats were rebuilt with new springs and foam before recovering. The shoulder belts are still original, however, the lap belts have been replaced, both front and rear. Repainted by a well known quality shop "Parks Auto Body" of Boise, Idaho. The original color was used with a slight addition of metal flake and non original rally stripes were professionally applied prior to clearcoat! Everything was stripped to bare metal before painting and all handles, bumpers, trim and glass was removed. The paint is exceptional with the superior fit of a solid original, the doors shut with just a click, like they should!! While the windows roll up and down effortlessly, all the rubber/felt was replaced and all the glass is in as new condition! To give you an idea the bumpers appear to be 100% original with very minor patina. This 69 Nova has all the original sheet metal it had the day it was built except a small minor repair mentioned in known items below. Comes to you with a freshly rebuilt 327 V8 and turbo 350 transmission, by Mr. Goodwrench! The motor was rebuilt with new rings, bearings, oil pump, timing chain, and valve job. Hardened valve seats for today's No Lead Fuel! A “Comp” camshaft and lifters was chosen that would give that perfect thumpy idle without sacrificing drivability! All NEW motor mounts, trans mounts, power steering pump, radiator, fan clutch, shroud and water pump. Feeding the fuel is an aluminum intake with Edelbrock 650 vacuum secondary carburetor with electric choke. The car starts up with a half second crank of the starter and idles perfectly. Ok you get the idea, this is a nicely "Set to Go Toy"! In closing, this car is a joy to drive! It starts correctly, drives perfectly and shows extremely well! This a really nice 1969 Nova “Survivor” with a no worries approach to daily operation! Read above, add it up and there is no way you could even come close to the quality of this survivor @ this price! SOLD Click Here For>>> EASY FINANCING GOOD LUCK!!!! SPUDMAN Known Items: Dry, Solid and ZERO signs of any body and/or Mechanical issues! Other owner notes: "During the preparation for the paint it was discovered that there had been a replacement of a portion of the right rear quarter panel. It was estimated that this repair was performed in the late 60,s or early 70,s. This was determined due to the fact that the repair was performed with meticulous bronze welding. The repair was deemed so perfect that only a thin coat of glaze was needed to prep the body for paint. They say that there is no such thing as a rust free car, due to the fact that every car starts to rust the day that it is built." Not an SS and Non matching numbers power-train but who cares!! Very Drivable everyday and/or on Sundays to the Show-N-Shine at the park! NICE CAR!! As I always say, Not Perfect and Not New (none are) but this is one fine driver that's a great value! Good Day!
