Description

Here Kitty, Kitty!! What we have here is a good honest and solid "Kool Kat" from the Great Northwest! Several things are very special about this survivor! Let's start with it's Feb. 14 1968 "Valentine's Day" Birthday!! Purchased brand spanking new in Seattle, Washington from Pacific Lincoln-Mercury on 4-18-1968 by Helen Nichols. The factory owners manual entries are completed right down to the key numbers (see sub-page)! She remained in Helen's loving care for over 36 faithful years!! The current owner purchased her in it's original un-molested condition late in 2004, the factory Lime Frost Poly paint was showing it's expected age and a decision was made to freshen it's straight-rust-free body up a bit! The amazing part is the interior of this lady is 100% original, untouched and showing very little wear! WOW! She was tuned up, a little fidgeting, enjoyed for several months and on it's way to you from the second owner! Not restored but preserved for future generations! A great driver that runs and drives wonderfully! In closing, Based on the above history, honest original quality and overall cosmetic impressions this car was very well cared for, enjoyed. petted and protected! A faithful servant that continues to please! Cars like this are very hard to find and will continue to grow in value! This is one you can enjoy just the way she is and/or take to the next level but I say why?? If you been looking for a great affordable entry into classic car ownership, this is the ticket!! Please see my observations below and do not miss the sub-page of additional details! GOOD LUCK!!!! SPUDMAN Known Items: Just over 100k Actual Miles!! All Data, Vin. and Body Tags Match! Not restored A dry, solid and original body with NO known rust. The original paint was recently refinished in it's correct color. The paint is of good driver quality, very shiny and looks great from a short distance. Some previous minor door dings still exist that are hardly worth mentioning but there! Overall I would call the body/paint acceptable "High Production-Low Cost-Driver Quality". The chrome and trim is original showing some minor expected pitting and fade. Mechanically it is very sound showing well cared for history. The LF headlight opens fine but is slow closing. Starts Runs and Drives with no smoke and/or issues. Not Perfect and Not New (none are) but I would say this is one that you can enjoy at an affordable level. Let the detailed pictures tell the rest of the story!
