1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible - 2

Yep, it's a GTO, Drop Top, Hard loaded and Ready to GROWL... This cat is resting on a complete and thorough Body-Off Rotisserie Restoration completed in 2004 with less than 2,000 miles since completion. Purchased in Yuma, Arizona and brought to Phoenix, Arizona for the restoration. The body was removed from the frame, stripped and placed on a Rotisserie for a professional result. As an Arizona specimen, all panels were original and some rust repair was required due to packed sand retaining moisture (see sub-page photos). Every nook and cranny was addressed, it was then prepped, primed and tastefully refinished in a "Glacier Blue" instead of the factory C code "Cameo Ivory". All factory trim/chrome was either polished, re-plated and/or replaced and a new Ivory White convertible top was chosen in place of the factory Black. While the body was being complete, the chassis was stripped, sand blasted to bare metal and all factory suspension was completely rebuilt. The final exterior touch is a set of American Racing polished Torque Thrust II aluminum wheels wrapped in radial rubber...

Under the hood resides a non-matching # period correct engine is a completely rebuilt 1969 400 Cubic Inch V8 fitted with mild Competition Camshaft, Edelbrock 800cfm 4bbl Carb, Hooker Headers, 2 1/2 Flowmaster Exhaust, Edelbrock Engine/Air Filter Dress and more. Transferring the power is a period correct 1969 Turbo 400 Hydromatic straight into the stock 10 bolt non-posi differential. Hop inside to a all new and very tidy factory Bucket Seat reproduction interior completed in "219 Blue" in place of the factory "223 Black".
