1967 Mercury 202 2dr Sedan

What we have here is a great mid 60's Mercury sporting some great mid 60's horsepower! With the vintage drag craze happening, solid 2 dr post bodies like are this are getting super hard to find! This 66,000 original mile jewel has been restored and treated to some subtle period up-grades! Read on for more!

What started life as a get around car has been converted to mid 60's Muscle Machine! Visible Tire Smoke and 4 Speed Control, there is nothing like it! Completely restored in 2005, a factory fiberglass Cyclone Dual-Scoop Hood was added along with "Hurst Performance Equipped" trim and finally the solid body was finished with a new Polar White basecoat/clearcoat. Retaining the factory appeal, the factory Red bench seat interior was left intact and fitted with factory replacement threads. The rolling stock was completed with steel wheels topped with NOS "Dog Dish" Hub Caps, front 5.5" with 195/75 x R14 and rear 8.0" with 245/60 x R14. Now for the fun part!

The entire power-train was correctly up-graded starting with a completely rebuilt 390 CID FE Big Block, Aluminum 4V Intake, AFB 4V Carb, Factory Style Trim and Heavy Duty Radiator. Transferring the FE power is a Hurst Equipped 4-Speed Top-Loader Manual Transmission that connects with a Ford 9" Differential with 325 Gears. Handling and Stopping?
