1967 Ford Mustang Deluxe Convertible

Originally equipped loaded up 60's converts like this sweet survivor are super hard to find and do not come along very often! A sure fire investment that will grow over the years! As Folk Lore would have it this sweet pink lady was first purchased by a Show Girl in Las Vegas Nevada! Really! A wonderfully dry and solid body! A 289 2V C-4 Automatic convertible loaded with Factory A/C, Power Steering, and Power DISC Brakes! The interior is also nicely optioned with Deluxe stainless trim only offered in 1967, center console, tilt and pop-up steering wheel/column and power top! Nice Options! This would be a great graduation gift or going off to college car for that promising student! She would also make a great daily driver while you enjoy some top down fun or perfect for a complete restoration investment! Either way you will get tons of bang for the buck! Known Items: A great Survivor of Driver quality! The body was refinished the correct special order "Playboy Pink" color in 1990 and the bumpers were re-chromed! A professional job that has held up real well with expected use chips, age etc. Looks great with no signs of rust or excessive body repairs! All body panels appear original with the exception of the drivers door and the data tag is not correct. Her floor pans and trunk are super solid originals and nothing has been hidden with under-coat (see sub page pix above)! All glass is good! At the same time that the body was refinished it had all new front-end bushings/joints installed and drives tight! Her stock 289, C4 automatic runs and shifts fine for 140,609 actual miles with no major problems or leaks noted. Just a few weeks ago the owner was raising the top and it blew a hydraulic line but the motor pumps fine. A hydraulic repair should do the trick! The top is older looks good with a new clear back plastic and does have a minor fingernail size cut just above the drivers head, which some silicone should fix for those rainy days when the top is up. The A/C compressor is free (not frozen/noisey/belt in place), all is connected but is in-operative and a charge should hopefully do the trick. The P/S ram has common oil seepage/leaks but holds fluid fine. The seats are great originals with some inserts correctly replaced. Her dash pad is also the original with common warpage. In short, this Pink Lady was a joy to drive and is a great survivor with expected age issues. Not New, Not Perfect and would surely be hard to duplicate. A Great Solid Driver! At least with my adds you get honesty with no tricks! Buy with confidence and let the  pix tell the rest of the story!
