1966 Jeep CJ-5 Campell Off-Road Special

This is a custom fabricated 1966 Jeep CJ 5 that was built by the well known Shannon Campbell of Campbell Enterprises. Based in Gilbert, Arizona they specialize in World Championship Off-Road Vehicles and Components.

The chassis is hand fabricated from steel box tubing and is extended over 7" inches from stock. The original CJ5 body was also lengthened to fit the custom chassis. This is one stout unit! Exterior body features include a custom Roll Bar adding strength from the front to rear, Bimini Top, Ramsey Electric Winch w/chrome Bumper, Receiver Hitch, KC Off Road Lights, Custom Rear Gate & Lighting and BF Goodrich 33 x 12.5/15 Radials mounted on GM Rallye Wheels. Interior features include aluminum dash insert with Autometer gauges, Race Seats with Simpson Harnesses, Quick Release Steering Wheel, Hurst Gate Shifter and Kenwood AM/FM Stereo Cassette.

Power is provided by a 400 cubic inch Chevy small block with Edelbrock Intake with 4bbl Quadra-Jet carburetor, stock ram exhaust manifolds and dual rear exit exhaust. Transfer of power is handled by a Turbo Hydro 350 automatic transmission. Also equipped with POWER Steering and Front Disc Brakes. The Front/Rear Axles and Transfer Case are Mid 70's Chevy Truck that have been narrowed and modified for the application. The rear axle is Detroit Locker equipped and the front carries a ARB Air Locker. A small compressor under the hood provides the air needed for shifting. Gas shocks with triples up front.

In closing, this a cute recreational vehicle that has been built to stand tough when needed. Adult driven and NEVER abused.
