Listing Description

1965 Ford Mustang 2+2 Fastback:

If you have been looking for a great little driver that will romp with the best of them! Latch yer eyeballs on this bullish little 2 + 2 Fastback Pony! This dude will flat do the trick! All gussied up and ready to please! He is a sure fire attention getter! Fastback's are the look of looks and this one has the kick! Dressed in period correct Rangoon Red and Black! He is the Ticket to get a Ticket! Sold new in dry Pocatello Idaho with an early birth date of 12-11-1964! Someone has totally went thru this one!

Powered by a Stout and Mean 302 that is built to the hilt! Backed up by a Borg Warner T10 Four Speed Tranz! Fresh as a daisy he has logged only a few miles! Ok here we go! 1968 302 Block Balanced and Blueprinted! Poked 40 over with Keith Black Hypereutectic 9.6:1 Pistons, 10/10 under stock crank, stock rods and ARP bolts! The valve train is driven by a Comp Cams Kit with 214 lift and 480 duration! The 69 302 low CC chamber heads with a 3 angle valve job are equipped with screw in rocker studs, Crane guides, hardened seats, stainless steel valves/retainers and Comp Springs! High Volume oil pump and chamfered oil bores! Top that all off with an Edelbrock Performer Intake and Holley 1850 (600 cfm) Four Barrel! Send those gases thru DynoMax HPC coated headers right into dual exhaust to the tail! Fire it off with a Petronix Point-less Ignition and Coil! Finish it off with some billet Motorsport stuff and a real 67 Cobra Oval Air Filter! Cool it all down with a 4 Row High Capacity Radiator! Am I done/ I think!

All new front end with new ball joints, tie-rod ends and bushings! The rear leafs are fresh 5 Leaf Heavy Duty! Sitt'n Nice and ready to rock! Ready to Roll and maybe if ya want, with some Tire Smoke off the Rubber wrapped 5 Spoke alloys!! Factoid: If you bought a restorable V8 Fast Back and did what the previous owner did to this dude, you would well exceed the cost you will pay for this driver done! Save a Bunch! BUY NOW!

Known Items: Overall a good solid Mustang with a good Solid feel! The paint appears to be of professional quality although the prep is amateur in nature. But all in all this one looks pretty darn good from a short distance! The lower rear qtr extensions on both sides have been replaced due to common rust in those areas. The rockers appear original and the floor pans look solid (see Sub Page Pix). The hood fits high on the back side due to a spring issue and should be an easy fix. No visible signs of any major accidents. The power train is stout and looks great! The clutch is tight and shifts good! The interior appears all new top to bottom! Looks great with the exception of some type of stretch mark in the headliner that most will never see! (see sub pix). I know Mustangs well and call em as I see em. Good look'n Honest Fastback! Not Perfect and Not New but will give someone tons of fun! Let the pictures tell the rest of the story Paul Harvey!
