The body is absolutely immaculate, rock solid and not molested! Amazingly, it still wears the original GM light tan paint and the interior is factory original in all respects! This Nova wears factory rear fender trim which is identical to the 1965 SS option trim package. Still sporting the original 5 lug 13 inch wheels with the original factory Nova wheel covers. The factory carpet and interior (optional vinyl w/cloth inserts) are all in excellent original condition with no significant wear and no holes or tears of any kind. Everything works just like it was yesterday, including the exterior lighting, interior ceiling lights, heat/defrost, turn signals cancel properly and the horn honks just like the day it was delivered new in 1965. Based upon the original 1965 Chevrolet Owner Protection Plan booklet (comes with the car) this vehicle was delivered new July 29, 1965 by Harbor Chevrolet of Long Beach, Ca. The first owner was Esidore Lavoie of Long Beach, CA. Records support that the Nova remained in the Lovoie family until 1991. The second documented owner Mr. Wally Curl, of Yorba Linda, Ca.,  appears to have purchased the Nova in March of 1991.  Mileage records are documented by the actual original service work orders that reveal the mileage on the Nova in February 1991 as 36,005 when Midas serviced and overhauled the brakes. Another Work order for a tune up on 7/23/93 reveal total mileage of 36,107 miles noted by Chris’s Auto and Electric Service of Yorba Linda, CA. California vehicle registration documents support that Mr. Curl owned the Nova until it was sold to the 3rd owner Mr. Thomas James Rice of Cottage Grove, MN. The fourth owner of this vehicle took delivery in November of 2005 with total original mileage of 40,003 Actual miles!!  Upon arrival to Boise, Idaho, the present owner had plans to complete a small block engine installation and build a classic performance street car. As I am sure you can imagine, it did not take long to decide, it would be a true “car sin” to cut and convert this outstanding original Nova.

Known Items: An obvious 41 year young 40k actual mile survivor!! No damage is noted on the vehicle except for a hardly noticeable small crease on the right rear lower quarter panel. The hood may have been re-painted at one time as the tone is a little different in certain light conditions. Close inspection does not reveal any rust and certainly no bondo or filler has been noted. The floor pans are 100% original with no undercoat hiding anything, very real!! The trunk has an excellent mat that appears to be the factory original pattern, only some minor light surface rust noted under the trunk mat that can be easily removed. Again no rust of significance is noted anywhere on this car. The glass has light factory tint and all glass is in very good condition with no significant scratch’s noted. All stainless trim is in good condition with little to no pitting on any trim surface. It is easy to see based upon my detailed inspection that this vehicle is original in every way. The brakes, transmission, engine and carb have all been recently serviced and adjusted as required. As I always say, Not Perfect and Not New (none are) but I believe you could drive this car anywhere and have ultimate confidence in its mechanical condition and function. A Real Cutie!! Good Day!
