1964 Ford Thunderbird Two Door Hardtop Coupe

Have you been wanting to get into Classic Cars at an affordable level? You know a good solid example that looks decent, drives good but may need a little Tinkering here and there! You want it to serve as back-up to daily transportation? It can't be an Ol Rust Bucket? This Bird is a good example of mid 60's iron that's not all rusted to pieces and runs great! Recently DRIVER QUALITY (High Production-Low Cost-Low Quality) re-finished in it's original "Wimbleton White" exterior! Good solid "DSO 74", sold in the Seattle Market where she still resides today! All of her chrome/trim/glass and is in Good/Respectable un-restored condition. NO Signs of any major accidents or excess rust! The floor pans are ROCK SOLID! The only rust spot I could find is small hole in left trunk, from a Previous Damp Mat (see subpage picture).

Her Factory  "White Leather w/Black Accents" has been amateur re-dyed combined with expected age cracks and wear from use! The Headliner is in Great original condition. The factory tilt away steering wheel swings away like it's supposed too! It's main power window switch is operative and I have No idea which windows work or don't, but believe the master center switch or power is possibly the problem! The carpet is dry but has typical wear spots and could use replaced! 

Starts, Runs Good, Shifts Fine and Drives Great with NO abnormal Noises or Smoke noted! The speedo works and the 5 Digit  Odometer reads 59,668 with NO Documentation of Actual miles! The tires are like new, brakes great with recent all new Drums/Shoes/Wheel Cylinders ($1,500) and power steering worked perfectly! Is factory Air Equipped with all items in place but NOT Cold! Some common expected oil seepage is noticed with no major leaks noted. 

In Closing, Please note other items may be inoperable and I may have missed something but this is all I noted with NO attempt to Hide anything! Do not let your imagination run away with you! It is AS-IS with a REAL NO RESERVE! I would say this a good survivor with expected age issues! NOT NEW and NOT PERFECT but this one will be a great value for the restorer and first time Classic Car Buyer! Let the detailed pictures tell the rest of the story! BID TO OWN!
