1962 Ford Galaxie 500 Sunliner Convertible

Sold brand new right here in dry Boise, Idaho! Purchased and Financed by the original owner on November 10, 1962 (see above document)! He then owned her for 13+ easy years until he sold her to the current owners estate on 06-29-1976. This solid survivor comes to you from the second owners estate of 27+ years!! Now it is time for the Ol Girl to find a new home. The estate says it's gotta go!  Maintained as a GOOD driver and never restored. Appears original with the only change over stock being the wire basket wheels! This car was enjoyed regularly and maintained as needed. I spent some time driving this baby and she drove exceptional with a tight well maintained type of feel! I even got caught in 100 degree traffic and she ran as cool as a cucumber! Packing a rare/strong 390 "Thunderbird 340hp" V-8, 4 barrel carb and Automatic Tranz. Known Items: Documented 2 owners! An un-restored straight and super solid high desert car of southern Idaho! It's body panels appear original with NO signs of any major accidents and/or replacements. The paint is old, shows dull areas and some buffing may help. No major damage on any panel and expected age, dings, etc do exist. Looks good from a relatively short distance. Through some note's from family members, the only known repair was to the driver door and hinge area due a slow speed back-up with the door open against a non-movable rock in the driveway. OOPS! All chrome appears original and is in good acceptable condition. All glass is good! The convertible top is power and works great! The top canvas look's to have been replaced several years ago! It looks good with no damage, fade  or tears! The original Tonneau cover is included, is rough , not torn and a re-dye might do. Always Stored inside! Her trunk is solid with the factory mat, jack and spare! The interior is of good driver quality. The rear seat and all door panels appear 100% original for sure. The front seat appears to be original material with the exception of the upper and back surface inserts appearing to have been replaced. GOOD!  The dash pad is warped in the center and also appears original. Everything works, including the gauges and factory radio! Drove spectacular, did not smoke, shifted great and I would not hesitate to drive this car every day or take a trip! The odometer reads 62k and No history of any documentation exists and the estate cares not to speculate, Sold as exempt with true miles unknown!
