1960 Chevrolet El Camino

Here's one to Buzz around in, this one is truly a Honey! This Arizona Gem is a fine example of 60's utility style! Only its second year of production, the 60 El Camino underwent an extensive restyling, reflecting the style change witnessed by it's sibling, the Impala Sport Coupe. It would be the last year for her stylish wings and production ceased for four years. Re-introduced in 64, the new design was based on the new Chevelle platform. The relatively low production of just over 14,000 units and intended utilitarian use has left many destroyed and/or rotting in fields across America. Starting as a good solid survivor, she is resting on a complete body off restoration/modernization. According to the owner, verbal history tells us she received her makeover @ 37,000 actual miles and the odometer during our inspection read 41,721, tested and enjoyed only 4,200 miles since restoration/modernization...

A consistent show-n-shine award winner, her mirror like 2 year young finish is of Bell Helicopter origin, "Fawn Metallic" Dupont basecoat/clear coat, jamb to jamb exceptional professional quality. The bed was re-fabricated during the restoration with quality rivaling the exterior, smooth spotless and scratch free! Exquisite factory trim that has been plated or polished to satisfaction, very nice and it's all there! Drivable and Roadworthy power consists of healthy 1996 Chevy 350 Small Block equipped with Edelbrock 4V Intake, Carter 4V Carb, GM HEI Ignition, Dual Ram Horn Exhaust, Polished Air-Conditioning Compressor, Chrome High Amp Alternator and subtle Bowtie Dress.
