As with many Contenders, this owners passion stemmed from childhood memories, his father promised to buy him a 1959 Impala while in High School, by the time an order was possible, the production run had ceased. Over the years, he held many record holding Drag Cars, Street Rods and Classics but this would be his most passionate creation! The eventual mission took 3 years (5 Pros-Full Time-Last 3-months), many hours of nerve racking perfection, patience and most of all, a very understanding Wife! He realized his dream!
