1957 Ford Ranchero Rare Amethyst Beauty

Well "Ranch Hands", here is America's first production "Car-Truck"! With only 15,277 of this model/trim Ranchero's produced, I would bet not many with good bodies like this one still exist! From 1957 through 1959 the Ranchero was patterned after the full size Fairlane, these unique vehicle's were definitely "One of a Kind!" A Car with a Truck bed? These Babies were an immediate success for FORD, Chevrolet proceeded to duplicate their own version of the Ranchero in 1959, but the Ranchero was the original "Car-Truck". KOPY KATS! 

Powered by a stock "1975" 351M 2bbl V-8 that runs as smooth as a whistle while providing plenty of power! Hooked up to a smooth shifting ever dependable Automatic Tranz of the same year! Pass'n the gases is a nicely routed Dual Exhaust System running quietly to the tail! A real good runner that you will enjoy to drive or visa-versa! 

Hop outside and treat yourself to some great eye candy! She just kinda draws ya in! Finished is a lickidy smooth late model Amethyst finish over its smooth stock Raven Black Body! Her trim from the Top of the Bed Caps to the sweeping side panels help her retain that late "50's" style! A new tight fitting bed cover protects yer goodies from the weather! Sitt'n just right with late model alloys and Radial rubber, she looks great with an up-dated stock appeal! Finished off with BLUE DOTS in the Rocket Style Tail-Lamps! A Real Looker! MAN SHE IS JUST KOOL! Take a good look at the close-up's and you will find reflection's galore! Nice Driver PLUS! 

Jump inside for a color combination that fit's this little doll well! Fresh as a Daisy from the Carpet to the Headliner! Her dash board is finished the same color as the exterior and retains that stock factory feel! A FORD Floor shifter keeps the look clean! Enjoyable Space! 

In closing, this little unit is a great survivor with incredible factory line's and trim coupled with late model FORD power! Ya know, the kinda power that makes owning one easy! One you can drive everyday, haul the bikes to the park, go garage sale'n, move the kids, head to the Show-n-Shine and/or Just Cruise! You will not see one of these on every street corner or possibly not at all! Be different and look good at an affordable price! BUY or BUY NOW!! Known Items: A good solid honest body with No signs of current rust! A very shiny above average finish, professional in nature, estimated to be 5+ years young and shows very minor age! The Floor Pans are very solid with the only signs of past rust repair in the RR rocker, that is visible in the sub-page of photos! Honest and Solid! The stainless is amazing appearing 100% original! The "O" on Rancher"O" is missing on the R side. The chrome bumpers look real good from a short distance, however some minor pitting exists. Glass Good! The interior is just like new! Runs and shifts correctly with NO signs of smoke, excess leaks and/or problems! Good Tight Runner! The age or miles of the power-train/restoration/modernization are all unknown, however based on it's feel and appeal, I would say all of this rig was done at the same time with very few miles! Not New and Not Perfect but a great looker/driver! KOOL!  Let the pictures tell the rest of the story!
