1957 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster

Here's a cute early Corvette with known solid Southern California heritage and history! One of only 6,339 produced, this baby touts great low production equipment and accessories! Let's see, One of 2,045 produced with the 283ci, 245hp Dual 4bbl Carb Engine, One of 664 produced with a factory 4-speed manual transmission and One of 379 produced with Power Windows! A rare Lady indeed!  Now I will carry on!

Purchased from the estate of the original Southern California Owner, the current private owner invested over $35,000 in a 5 year young complete body-off restoration that he has enjoyed less than 1,000 miles since it's completion! A good solid survivor correctly refinished in it's original Aztec Copper w/ Polo White Coves and Shoreline Beige interior! Of course, New reproduction interior and tan canvas top. The grill, bumpers, guards and exhaust exits were re-plated to perfection. The 283 CI V8 (correct casting #3731548) was completely disassembled, rebuilt, balanced and blue-printed. The factory trans and rear-end were inspected, tested and rebuilt. Complete new exhaust exits out it's sweet stock location. Correct Bias Wide Whitewall tires are wrapped around classically styled chrome rally wheels. Anyway, I could go on but you get the idea! This is one nice honest early Vette with the right stuff that has been professionally restored!!

Known Items: Known solid history on a GOOD California original!! A professional body-off restoration completed about 5 years ago and operated less than 1,000 miles. Always stored inside, petted and protected. The basecoat/clearcoat paint and straight original body are of exceptional quality (probably over-done by NCRS standards) A minor scuff to the RF fender near the headlight ring that was caused by a common garage exit is noted on the sub-page of additional pictures, it is small but there. All chrome bumpers/grill/guards/mirrors are fresh and all of the stainless has been polished. The rest of the chrome plated trim appears original with very minor common expected age. NO Hard Top, but think about it, this is a convertible and all they do is hang in the garage! The radio knobs are missing but the radio is operative! Starts, Runs and Drives excellent with a recent trip to the shop! Ready to Go! This is a very nice early Vette that is sure to please! The engine casting #, Suffix and Intake #'s are provided on the sub-page for the purist. Not Perfect and Not New (none are) but she is a very sweet original Vette that you can drive and/or Show at the park!! It is what it is with pleasing options.
