Here's a great looker for ya!! What's even better is that this "57 Hardtop" has all of the stuff that makes one enjoyable and most of all drivable!! Read on for more!!
Powered by a smooth running 327 V8 topped with a GM ZZ4 aluminum intake fed by a Edelbrock AFB 4bbl carb! Highly detailed, nice billet accessories dress this old girl up nice! Power is transferred thru a Turbo 400 auto trans straight into the stock Hi-Way friendly rear end! Stock ram horn exhaust manifolds exit straight into mello sounding dual cross-over pipes hooked to chamber mufflers with tailpipes that go up and over to the rear end like they are supposed too!! On to the handling! A ton was spent on the way she goes down the road and stops! The entire front-end was completely rebuilt, Stabilizer Bars were added front/rear, all new Brakes Lines, new Power Disc Front Brakes, Wide Whitewall radial tires and just recently, brand new 605 Power Steering!!
The straight body on this lady is finished in a subtle pale green non-factory color that captivates in the sun light and invites looks of admiration! The hardtop roof is finished in white just as it should be! A Very Nice Driver! The fit of all panels are super!! All of the chrome and stainless just glistens and is in excellent overall condition! Factory steel wheels sport correct spinner hub caps! The stock appeal and reflection's within are simply that, very appealing! Looks of yesteryear while hiding the comfortable operation features within! Get In!
Hop inside to a comfy and up-dated stock style interior! Let's start with the ICE COLD Vintique Air Conditioning! The seating, door panels, carpet and headliner are wonderful stock reproduction threads, in excellent condition! From top to bottom she looks great in her period correct colors. Just in case you did not notice, she has a full set of seat belts front/rear and the outboard front are retractable so they don't get shut in the door! Now buckle up and feast yer eyes on the captivating stock dash with correct up-dated shift indicator, working factory gas/temp gauges and under dash mounted oil pressure gauge. Now flip on the Bowtie Digital AM/FM Cassette Rdaio with 6x9 rear deck speakers! Crank Me Up and Let's hit the road!
Known Items: A great solid, honest and original Bel-Air 2 door hardtop body! An older body on restoration of unknown age but one could easily assume very few miles. Starts, Runs and Drives perfectly with no known issues. Recently serviced & safety checked, ready to go! In 2001, $5,800.00 was spent on the new Power Disc Brakes, Rebuilt Front End, Air Conditioning, Brake Lines, ZZ4 Intake Manifold, Edelbrock Carb and More! Just recently installed is 605 Power steering in order to make this the perfect driver!
The older professional paint is very shiny, a few minor age imperfections with a couple very tiny lift bubbles on the hood that I walked around 3 times before I noticed, hardly worth mentioning, but there. Looks soooper outside but you could pick here/there under florescent lights. I would say, very acceptable and above average Driver Quality with NO Excuses needed. This car is exceptionally straight! The chrome and stainless is excellent with a minor ding in the RR wing trim that more visible in the pictures than it is in person, very minor. Good Solid Driver Quality undercarriage (see sub-page pictures) The inner/outer rockers, body/frame sun braces are rock solid original with two small repair spots in the floor pan. The trunk floor is very solid and dry! Not Perfect and Not New (none are) but I would say this one has all the right stuff! A No excuses driver!
