1956 Ford F100 Stepside

Power is created by a 70's Ford 351 V8 that's fed by a fuel sipping two barrel carburetor. The transmission is a stout C6 automatic transmission that propels the power to a Ford 9" Differential with 3:08 hi-way friendly gears (rear frame C'd to lower & obtain the slammed look). Up front the suspension the ever dependable and smooth riding Plymouth Volare torsion-bar suspension with power steering (note the original frame horns still in place). Other nice features include power front disc brakes and dual safety master cylinder. A custom built fuel tank holds 20 gallons of petrol. She's a great driver!!

Now onto the slick and rock solid body that has been massaged with old school style! Extensive custom metal work on the body which includes: rounded door corners, right side louver removal on cowl, smoothed off roof-removal of rain gutters, removal of all emblems, door handles etc., electric operated doors with hidden mechanical openers in and out, custom built box, tail-gate, lower pan in rear with custom tail-lights, smoothed front lower pan with cool ditch lights installed, removal of wind-wings, with one piece power windows, custom remote outside rear view mirrors- both sides, unique all brass AMERICAN EAGLE mounted on tailgate, aluminum diamond plate bed and tailgate floor pan, all steel widened rear fenders, all steel custom built running-boards with filled void between board and door bottom, electric hood latch with custom rear opening brackets. Finally the body was finished in Lavender base coat clear-coat-flat to achieve a more contemporary look and custom graphics were applied by "BUTCH" of Payson Arizona, a  noted artist described in Jan 05 Architectural Digest 3-page article as the top automotive artist maybe on the planet!
