Description
Well I don't know about you but I truly enjoy Good Old Survivors like this jewel and especially a F1 Ford! Yep, you won't find one like this on any street corner and they are certainly hard to come by! Great solid Colorado history with documented ownership. Early Ford Club Members should pay particular attention to this specimen!
This is about as original as they get and I very much enjoyed capturing it's character. Purchased by the current owner in Denver in 1975, later sold in 1981 and then when given the opportunity, without hesitation, it was re-purchased in 1998. The owner is now reaching a point where his collection needs to seek greener pastures.
The body on this rig is absolutely solid and in amazing un-molested condition. From the cab corners to the floor pans to the fenders and bed, she is sweet! An older restoration of a wonderful specimen. The interior retains it's stock form and even the rare tool bin behind the seat is still there!
Under the hood it's Flathead V8 purrs like a kitten and she shifts like slicing butter! Why? Recently and very few miles ago, this lady was treated to over $5,000 in maintenance!! Major Items Include: Transmission Rebuild, New Clutch, New Steering Gear, Brakes Rebuilt, Dual Point Distributor, Replace Oil Pan Gasket, New W/W Radial Tires, Original Radio Rebuilt and New Side Mirrors! The only known modifications from it stock stature are the addition of a Edelbrock 4 barrel Intake, Holley Carb and Mallory Distributor!
In closing, if you have been looking for a good honest Early Ford 1/2 Ton Pick Up that can be enjoyed just the way she is and/or with little effort taken to the next level! This old Girl is a Cutie with No Excuses. So Step Up! Perfect as a business promotional expense! Reasonably priced and ready to go! BUY NOW!! $Pending! EASY FINANCING GOOD LUCK!!!!
Known Items: The body is rock solid with zero signs of rust and all of it's panel's are wonderfully straight. The paint age is unknown, showing some fade/age (most could easily be polished out), minor age nicks/touch-up with some flaking noted on the upper roof surface. The interior is in great condition with some minor common flexing of the cardboard trim. Starts, Runs and Drives GREAT with No known issues. Not Perfect and Not New (none are) but one sweet survivor with incredible CHARACTER! Spudman likes her and you will too!!
