This honest body prior to the restoration was acquired in Arkansas. The original steel body was removed (body-off) from it's chassis, exterior stripped to bare metal and transformed into this great little driver. A solid specimen that only needed minor common repairs prior to finish. All of the floor pans are original, both R/L rockers replaced and one small patch repaired in trunk. All new Oak-Bows in the power convertible top. Subtle notes include frenched 54 ford style head-lamps, LED front Turn Indicators, frenched 49 Merc LED tail-lamps, 3rd brake light, shaved deck lid, wonderful  new Bob Drake factory replacement fender spheres, body line molding, fuel door trim, F/R Bumper Guards and finished in a tasteful Hot Red! The power-train has been up-graded with a nice little 32K mile donor combo which includes a 95 GM 350 V-8 equipped with Vortec aluminum heads, 4V aluminum Intake, 600cfm Edelbrock Carb, March Billet belt/pulley drive system, polished "Hot Rod Air" A/C Compressor, shrouded & thermostatically controlled electric cooling fan, high flow radiator and dual rear exit 2 1/4 exhaust. The transfer is power is handled thru a hi-way friendly 700R4 Electronic over-drive transmission and GM 10 Bolt 343 ratio differential. The stock Chassis has been prepped and fitted with a fully engineered independent front suspension, "Heidt's" Mustang II cross member, rack-n-pinion steering, tubular control arms, power Disc front brakes, drum rear, "Chassis Engineering" rear springs and rolling on a set of polished Billet Specialties alloy wheels wrapped in radial rubber.
