Description
Well here's a great little Rod with super style that the whole family can enjoy! Super Sleek and loaded with great late model goodies! There is nothing like the timeless lines of a 48 Chevy Fleetline Aero 2 Door Sedan! The current owner sold his home and is moving into a 5th wheel while their dream home is being built! SOOOOOOOOOO, she's gotta go, FAST! This ride is a deal! Let the 3 web pages of detailed photo's and below text tell the rest of the story!!
Built and Restored in the North Idaho, Clarkston/Lewiston area, this car shows it's great northwest roots with a super dry, slick and solid body!! Purchased by the (not to far away) current Spokane, Washington owner about 3-4 years ago, enjoyed, shown and always a garage queen! Her slick body is not chopped and/or shaved in any way with all factory trim in place!! Superbly finished in a 90's Chevy S-10 color "Radar Blue" poly basecoat/clearcoat. The custom interior is updated with completely adjustable front bucket seats, console, bowtie door panels, billet door handles and finally wrapped in high quality tweed with simulated leather accents! Yes the headliner is also matching tweed! Very Nice! Now look to the dash area fitted with Billet Instrument Panel, Full VDO Instrumentation, LED Turn/High Beam Indicators, Billet Glove Box, Billet Knobs, Tilt Steering Wheel, Grant Leather Wrapped Steering Wheel, Ron Francis Wiring, Billet Gas Pedal, Vintage Heat/Defrost and More! Oh Yea, the Tunes are a amped out (see body/int sub-page) AM/FM CD multiple speaker sound system that will provide plenty of entertainment!! In short, a very neat and complimenting modern style interior! Let's move onto the mechanicals!
Power is created with a mildly built late model Chevy 350 V8 fitted with: Edelbrock Performer Series Carb, Aluminum Rpm Intake, Chrome Valve Covers, Chrome High Flow Air Filter Hsg, Chrome Alternator & Brackets, Snug Fit Headers, Dual Exhaust and Walker Radiator. The power transfer is handled with a Turbo 350 Auto Tranz and Nova 10 Bolt non posi rear axle with great Hi-way Gears! Dash controlled rear air shocks set the ride just fine! Up front on the factory frame resides a "Total Cost Involved" fully independent Mustang II Suspension with POWER STEERING and 11" Inch DISC BRAKES!! Boyd's wheels wrapped in radial rubber rounds out the rolling stock! Welp, there ya have it!!
In closing, this is a great looking Family Rod that has Sure Fire Bang for the Buck! Ready to go, you will find this solid sample very reasonably priced for a quik sale! Make sure you read the below known items and visit the sub-pages of additional photo's! BUY NOW!! ** ** ( see below note ) EASY FINANCING GOOD LUCK!!!!
Known Items: The body appears to be of Northwest Heritage and is exceptionally solid with no signs of any rust. The body lines are straight and the paint is of professional quality. The odometer reads just under 15k miles and is believed actual since build while the estimated build youth is 7-8 years with minor expected age/use flaws. One recent unfortunate issue with a careless home inspector has caused minor hood damage (see sub page) Other than that, some underside garage cobwebs from limited use. Started instantly, drove superbly and shifted fine with no noted issues. A car cover is included. A tight feeling driver! Now as I always say, Not Perfect and Not New (none are) but... this is one fine "Show-N-Shine in the Park Driver" that will get stares wherever you go!! My final opinion, I know this solid/sleek rod is a great value and won't last long!
