This lady is loaded to the max and ready to go with less than 1,000 miles since a complete body off modernization! Pearl Harbor History!!!! Most classic cars have folk lore, interesting history that has carried over the years and/or something that pops up during a restoration! We often wonder if cars could talk, 'What kind of story would they tell?" This statuesque lady stands tall and continues to serve us well! Read on for more!

The professional restorer discovered this lady sitting in the dry desert of Wikieup, Arizona where she had spent 30 + years! Many years had past, she had her share of creature visitors, broken windows and her Army Green paint had long since faded! While tracking down the title, contact was made with the owner, who's uncle had brought her to the desert from Hawaii in 1946, where she had served as a U.S. Army Officers Staff Car during Pearl Harbor! Fun!

Now for the current story! Sometimes, our imagination runs wild during the buying process and we sometimes loose sight on how dang hard it is to get there!  This may be one of those tales! After the enthusiasm wears off, maybe you decide to move on to the next one, like this builder tried to do! The old girl would not go away easily, "multiple attempts were made to sell her for a whopping $200 Bones and I never even received an offer! Ah, what the heck, let's go for it!!" Over two years time, lots of dough and tons of labor have been wrapped into this babe! She has been revived and stands testament that vision's of something different can hold a Special Beauty, once complete! "The Ultimate Family Cruiser"!

A complete and total rotisserie modernization that's extremely functional and very show worthy! Power is created by a rebuilt 300hp 327 Chevy V8 hooked to a Turbo 400 Auto Tranz that transfers into a 336 gear ratio Nova differential! The entire frame was stripped, fitted with a "FatMan" Mustang II Independent Front Suspension with Rack-n-Pinion Steering, Front Disc Brakes and Chassis Engineering rear leaf springs! Prior to the assembly, the frame and inner fenders were POR 15 Powder Coated, not once but twice! A Walker radiator keeps her kool in the hot Arizona weather, even with the Vintage Air Conditioning, ON! Other features include Power Steering and Power Brakes!! The rolling stock is finished off nicely with a HUGE set of "COYE" Vintage Spokes, up front 18 x 8 and out back 20 x 8.5!!

Her weathered body was massaged to perfection and treated to a smooth basecoat-clearcoat of Sterling Silver under a Jet Black roof! Fitted with all NEW Glass and Rubber while all of the bright work was either plated, polished and/or refinished! Jamb to Jamb this lady is very SWEET! All factory interior metal trim was powder-coated, then installed around a Custom Interior of Red "Ultra-Leather" stretched over dual Caddy 6 Way power seats, factory rear seat, door panels and headliner!!! The factory dash trim was completely re-chromed and fitted with VDO Classic Gauges, "Ididit" polished billet tilt steering column, audible turn signals for our aging ears and billet door handles throughout! Tunes are created thru a high amp JVC in dash AM/FM CD Player!! Finally, vintage Fog Lights offer daytime driving attention getters!
