Description
Oh gosh, Good Character is Hard to Come By! Each person has a character and so does each car! At least, I believe so! Some do something for you instantly and others just don't! This one does it instantly, did for me! Kinda like driving a Miss Daisy but Not! No she is not restored to perfection and no she is not all cut up either! I would describe a car like this as a Good Survivor with Honest Character! It's almost as you traveled back to the late 1930's and saw her on the used car lot for sale! Now of course, $1,500 won't buy her today but you get the idea! Not Perfect, just like a Fine Partner!
Now the reason I say all of this is, I personally enjoy each and every car I list and some capture my senses better! Like, if she could only speak? This one just takes you back a step or two for solid character! I took her up and down hills in Seattle and she never whimpered or even missed a beat! I stopped to get Five bucks of gas in her and every one stared and said, "Nice Car, What Year"? The gauge went up like it was supposed too and she started right up with that Classic Flathead sound!! Driving was neat, as the gears just slide one to another like it had done for many years! Now on to the rest of the story! (to learn more about my character, go to my about me on e-bay)
Powered by a stock Flat Head V8 (Flatty) and shifting the gears thru a 3-speed trans! Everything looks stock and what appears to be an older Body Off restoration. The interior is showing it's age but is very serviceable with no tears or excess wear. The dash and window garnishing finish is near perfect! Equipped with a Factory Radio and Heater! Her body is super solid with No Signs of rust! Also very serviceable with great curb appeal is the Washington Blue Paint with a good shine! The chrome jewelry she adorns is stock and very exquisite! Sports "Rare Side Wings"! No Bad-Gas issues with a new Bob Drake Fuel Tank! Adding to her character and If you want to touch a piece of her history on paper, A copy the original BILL of Sale Is included!
In Closing, I found this car special, special enough to enjoy just the way she is! Drive, Pet, Protect and Watch the looks on others faces! A Nice Survivor-Driver that's an affordable Family Jewel! Read below for the rest of the story! BID or BUY NOW!! To inquire e-mail Jim or Phone 1(877)243-9327
Known Items: Vin# B2988539. An older body off restoration estimated to be 20 plus years young. The original body is solid, very straight and no rust! The interior is showing age with some spots on the carpet and expected minor discoloration in areas! The carpet may be the only thing I would touch or replace. The Washington Blue paint is showing some wear and expected age with noted paint checking (see sub-page sample) and a few RR egg hits. Good picture samples posted on the sub-page! No major damage anywhere, just close up use/age issues and this car looks great just the way it is! Flathead V-8. 3 speed trans. Runs and drives great, just tuned up! All stock except now has hydraulic brakes for added safety! A new master cylinder was just installed during a recent service and safety check! The Heater Works! The Radio is Inoperative, turns on but just hums, so hum along! Let the pictures tell the rest of the story! Not New and Not Perfect but loaded with good solid character, usability and affordability! You will enjoy her, I did! A great 3rd Car with fun attached!
