1932 Ford Highboy Roadster

Well, Well what we have here is a creation by an experienced Hot Rodder with drag racing roots dating back to 1945, when 32 Ford Roadster's started it all! While this rocket is powered by a different era, when this Baby spools up, you better hold on and check yer shorts when yer done! 375 Horsepower, Lightweight and Smoke'n! Resting between the legs of a Rod Factory Frame is an Awesome Supercharged GM Quad Four Twin Overhead Cam that raps out some serious RPM'S! This std bore 89 Olds 2.3L has been fitted with forged Wiseco 8.5:1 Pistons and a re-worked Ported/Polished Dual Cam Head fitted with GM Performance W-41 Cams/Springs! Computer controlled Electromotive Tec II Fuel Injection feeds the fuel while a Vortech V-5 Supercharger forces the issue with 15lbs of Boost at 6500 RPM! Custom built 1 3/4 Tube headers built by McCabe Racing of Chino,AZ provides a quick exit of spent fuel into 3 inch exhaust with a Borla Muffler! A Walker Radiator keeps it sooper kool! Wind Me Up! Moving on, the rotating mass was lightened up a bit with the factory flywheel machined to 15lbs, fitted with a Centerforce Performance Clutch that's coupled to a World Class T-5 Transmission with a Manatpart Bellhousing! Taking the rubber to the road is a Ford 8" Posi rear-end with 462 Gears! Whoa! Set for the RRRRRR"S! Touting 375 Horsepower! Hooked Up, this 2040lb baby will Torque lift a front wheel or two! Really!

The rear suspension is set up with Rod Factory 4-Link w/Panhard Bar while the front is a Chrome Dropped I Beam Axle with 4-Bar! Steering is controlled by a Vega (Saginaw 525) Gear Box. Stopping is provided by front Chrysler Disc Brakes and Ford 8" rear drums operated thru a Chrysler Dual Circuit Master Cylinder! It's lightweight Rodlite 15"x6"/15"x8" Aluminum wheels are wrapped in Goodyear 195/60R 15 & 275/60R 15 Radial Rubber. Now onto the Final Stage!

The Downs fiberglass body was massaged/treated to a 96 Ford Silver Dupont finish by Prestige Auto Body of of Prescott, Arizona! 39 Ford King Bee headlights light the way and just in case the blower get's away from you, a Four-Bar Chrome Roll Bar keeps you safe while you are strapped into Beard Super Seats with Crow 5 Point Safety Harness's! Everything is neatly wrapped in Burgundy/Gray Naugahyde, Gray Velour Seat Inserts and Burgundy indoor/outdoor carpet! Pure Function and Fun! Open Air Rodding at it's Best! Monitor it's bodily functions with a full set of Dolphin Gauges! Tunes are provided by GM Quad 4, HA!
