The paint and prep fit the quality standards of the time, looks good from a reasonable distance but by today's standard's, you may call it Amateur or Driver Quality. Appears to be lacquer with some checking in the black fenders near the headlamp brackets (see subpage). The body is wonderfully solid and the wood is rot free!
